by Teddy & CO FUNLAND!!! on August 25, 2021

Beyblade is a line of spinning top toys originally released in Japan in July 1999, they are customisable, with interchangeable parts.  Both the toys and their names were inspired by "Beigoma", a traditional spinning top and the concept is similar to Battling Tops, a board game developed in 1968.

Here are our ultimate TOP 5 designs!!!

  1. Geist Fafnir is a Stamina Type Beyblade released as part of the Burst System as well as the Cho-Z Layer System. It was released as a Starter in Japan on September 22nd, 2018. It’s Stamina Type Energy Layer that features a triangular perimeter and three side profile dragon heads with an "F" along each, meant to represent this Layer's namesake; Fafnir the Nordic Dragon of Greed.
  2. Imperial Dragon is an Attack Type Beyblade released as part of the Burst System as well as the Gatinko Layer System. It was released as a DX Booster in Japan on November 16th, 2019. Imperial is one of the–if not the–widest Layers in the game, and is quite bulky. This means it has a greater chance of hitting its opponents; a strong quality for an attack type.
  3. Cho-Z Valkyrie is an Attack Type Beyblade released as part of the Burst System as well as the Cho-Z Layer System. It was released as a Starter in Japan on November 17th, 2018. Cho-Z Valkyrie is an Attack Type Energy Layer, the centre features a feathered, armoured face facing forward meant to represent an armoured knight. It also features three large wings as the primary points of contact, granting the Layer high Knock-Out and Burst Attack potential. Features also include metal in its design; in this case, concentrated behind each wing and in the centre.
  4. Dead Phoenix is a Defence Type Beyblade that's part of the Burst System as well as the Cho-Z Layer System.  Its high Outward Weight Distribution (OWD) grants it not only the highest Stamina potential out of all other Core Discs, but its weight grants it high Attack and Defence potential too.
  5. Cho-Z Achilles is a Balance Type Beyblade released as part of the Burst System as well as the Cho-Z Layer System. It was released in Japan on December 27th, 2018. Cho-Z Achilles is a Balance Type Energy Layer, the centre features a shield and an armoured face facing forward, to represent Greek hero, Achilles. The perimeter is made up of four large blades as the primary points of contact, two of which are moulded in the shape of swords, granting the Layer high Knock-Out and Burst Attack potential. As part of the Cho-Z Layer System, Cho-Z Achilles features metal in its design; in this case, concentrated on the sword blades.
